An Open Letter to Google Lit Trips Users...

First let me assure you that this is not a solicitation for any financial support. I am more dedicated than ever to ensuring that the Google Lit Trip resources remain absolutely free to the end user. So, please take just a few moments to read this very important message.
As you know, in the constantly changing world of the Internet, sites go up, sites go down, some sites are meticulously maintained, and some are abandoned. As a result, occassionally Google Lit Trip links to images and external websites “break” or no longer link to the intended resources. This situation has generated a quality control issue requiring the development of a process for the systematic monitoring of all links within every Google Lit Trip file.
The purpose, therefore, of this message is to solicit the assistance of a small group of volunteers who might be willing to spend no more than an hour or two reviewing the image and website links within a Lit Trip or two, checking for links that are not performing as they were intended to perform when the Lit Trip was first developed or last revised.
